Madrid, September 15th, 2023- At European Flyers we have received the visit of the Irish airline, Ryanair, at our base in Madrid Cuatro Vientos. Our students have had the chance to learn more about the pilot recruitment and employment process in this airline, the different professional positions they offer, and how to apply for such.
Throughout the presentation, students were also able to discover first-hand the day-to-day life of a Ryanair pilot, the expansion plans of the airline, and detailed information on their B737 Type Rating Programme– a process every pilot must go through to be rated on and fly the Boeing 737.
This is not the first time that Ryanair has visited us at Cuatro Vientos airport, as the airline has attended this invitation since 2018, and has also presented on two other occasions at Mutxamel Aerodrome in Alicante, where the school has another base. This goes to show the level of commitment we have at European Flyers to our students’ employability.
“The incorporation of our students into the job market has always been one of our main priorities at European Flyers. This visit to our school from Ryanair shows precisely how committed we are to the employability of our students, given that this has been a great opportunity for them to come close to seeing first-hand the day-to-day reality of an airline pilot as well as answering any questions they may have had”, mentioned Luis Miñano Gómez, the general director of European Flyers.
